Salt Water Sanbar Stripers

"Low tide is at 5 pm so meet me there at ten of don't be late!!." There I was at 4:50 but no Jeremy he must of said 10 after because thats when I saw him pull in. We got geared up and headed out on the sanbars near the Black point Inn. Jeremy hooked up on the first cast and landed a schoolie then another one and another. Me being the novice salt water angler had a little bit slower go at it but managed to catch about a dozen fish. we met a couple of fellas who fish there religiously and they gave us the famous line "you should have been here yesterday." Well if yesterday was better than the aftenoon we had I can't imagine how much better it could be. If you haven't been after the stripers yet this year give it a go. The smaller fish were in but the bigger ones are on the way. I'll leave you with a little advice: Use a

black fly and keep a good eye on the tide.
