Hi this is Greg! I am up in Quebec, flyfishing for Atlantic Salmon with Quebec Sporting. This is a picture of my first Atlantic Salmon on the York River. I have more pictures and will share them as available. I caught this fish in the afternoon and had been casting over fresh fish 30 - 40 lb. all day. There were plenty of fish and am returning there now . Jeremy will add a link in this article so you can see my first bright fish. He is about 15lb plus and put up a great fight. As soon as I figure out the mechanics of getting my own pics on I'll put them up. Great guides and some of the most beautiful water i have

seen anywhere. The guides name is gary and is holding my fish on the York . check out the pics on the site.

I am so glad you got that fish! Looks like a beautiful river to catch the best kind of fish in the world. I can't wait to hear all about it. Did he jump? What did he take? How did he taste (just kidding) .... Catch some more - and post some better photos when you can!!! Let us know how you continue to do!

Good for you Greg.. The atlantic salmon has been called the fish of a thousand cast. Think Hemingway said that.( Course he probably had a thousand bourbons between cast) Look forward to hearing the details.
Tight lines
