So, joe-m and joey called me this morning from some nowhere town in Washington State. Actually, the town of Ellensburg. So, they got off the airplane yesterday, rented a car and they were in the water by evening. They said they hooked into a little of everything. Cutthroats, Browns and Rainbows. Joey even got a fish on his first cast. Joe reported a nice 15" Rainbow. Today they are taking a guided trip down the Yakima River with Jim Shuttleworth. From what they said this morning, this river is really fished best with a drift boat. Of course, you know what they used last night to catch their fish. Yup, triple nymph rigs. So, anyway, not to bad of an evening for their first time on the water. Got the stink off anyway, got a few nice fish under their belts and will hopefully have some big rainbows to report after today's drift boat trip down the Yakima River. They will fish Washington State again tomorrow and then hop on the boat to Alaska. Joe, has pictures of last nights fish, but internet connectivity was tough to find this morning. He said that the hotel they are staying at

tonight will have wi-fi internet and that he will send some scenic and hopefully fish shots. Stay tuned.
