 The Old Boy and I - ME

June 3 , 2003. My older friend (77) and I started for Cobbossee Stream after a short walk to the pool at the bend. Here we go the BROWNS ARE FEEDING... I had Bill (77) wade to the slower water with a #18 green body elk hair caddis his first cast boom he had a hit. I just looked and laughed. Not long after he got his reflexes back and landed a nice 20" male, KIDS PLAY FOR A 77 YEAR OLD BOY... We fished untill dark 9:00 pm. Score - OLD BOY 3 trout - young guide, 2 bass and a perch. I guess even the fish can tell a wise old boy over a not so wise young one... See ya on the stream Joe
