Sailfish On The Fly Hi Speed Only

Hi I am Mark Ward, owner of the Everglades Angler Orvis Endorsed Flyshop and Guide Shop, in Naples Florida. I was recently invited to Costa Rico as a guest of Orvis. I stayed at the Crocodile Bay Lodge there, and fished for three and half days. We had a blast and experienced some fantastic fly fishing. I landed two Pacific sailfish each day on the new Orvis T3 12wt. rod. "Costa Rico is a unique and wonderful place. The country is working hard to preserve their wildlife through their national parks. The animal life abounds on land and in the ocean. We saw a school of approximately 250 porpoise free jumping and playing, along with

free-jumping sails and 15-pound tuna. During my time in Costa Rico, I also saw turtles and humpback whales. And, we caught numerous Pacific sails each day. What a trip!"

Sweet video Mark! Thanks for sponsoring this months tournament - we have some great submissions so far and there is still plenty of time in Jan for people to submit a few more!

If anyone out there liked this video - visit evergladesangler.com and CHECK OUT THE TARPON VIDEO. Mark and his guides run a great shop down in the everglades and if you love fly fishing you should think about going down to fish with everglades angler this winter. flights to florida are cheap - and the tarpon/snook/redfish/jack fishing is great - the everglades is awesome and so much different than the typical parts of florida - check out evergladesangler.com and give mark a call with any questions.
