Yesterday, June 16 2005, was our first day of Atlantic Salmon fly fishing in Gaspe Canada. The water was crystal clear and the levels were perfect. The sector had three pools loaded with fish and the Atlantic Salmon were performing their acrobatics at a steady pace, all day. For a first day of fly fishing this was the priceless part of that credit card add. Some strong coffee, a good lunch and the pull of a shiny, fresh from the ocean Atlantic Salmon. This was a great day. He hit my "Boutique" fly, like a freight train on steroids! 5 plus leaps into the air and 30 minutes later we took this picture. A beautiful fish, one that I will never forget. A Male
Atlantic Salmon, 15-18 Pounds. Life is good right now, in Gaspe.
