Kennebec River @ Shawmut Dam. Pat, Tim and I make our way into the high but wadable Kennebec River. Tim a young man, who has just purchased some fly fishing gear wants to go with Pat and I for his first fly fishing experience. It was quite windy and hard to cast but Tim stuck to it and caught 2 Browns and a Rainbow. Pat caught a very nice Rainbow and a couple of Browns and I caught 2 chubs and a Brown. Tim hooked his first fish and thought he had lost it as he had a lot of slack line on the water but when he started reeling the slack in, the look on his face was Priceless. As we left the water at about 8 PM the Caddis were like falling snow and

there were Spinners all over the water. But, it was time to go. I had a great time and I'm sure Tim did.
