yo - here is a tip - i know this - if you are looking to get out and fly fish on some flats - see how far it is from marathon key to big torch key (on the gulf side) - there are some sweeeet flats back there and we have caught alot of nice fish wading... gregb knows more than me - but that is what i love about the keys - greg and i and others have gone down allot and just bomb around from island to island and wadefish - greg caught a huge bonefish back there one year - and there are all types of species that are totally possible to catch on foot - pm greg for specific info --- but if i recall correctly marathon to big torche key is a short drive....and worth the trip

Great small fly shop has everything you need and does not sell clothing, just gear. Marathon key.
