hi - welcome to flies and fins - you will see that THIS site http://www.fliesandfins.com is for stories of fishing trips and kind of the heart and soul of the fly fishing trip ... not focusing too much on technical stuff ... more so - good times, friends and fish ... (although there really are no rules .... so that is not true all the times)

anyway ... the supporting sites www.fliesandfinseast.com, www.fliesandfinswest.com and www.fliesandfinssouth.com -- are run by fly fishermen in those parts of the united states and the concept around those sites is "take a tip - leave a tip" --- so whether you are looking for tips in any of those regions ... or have fished any of those regions and learned something ... we all believe that everyone is always learning and even if someone, lets say ... went to florida only 1 times fly fishing for snook .... they certainly learned something unique to themselves ... that if they share it --- will, in the end... benefit the next person going to florida ... and when you ask a question ... and other fly fishermen answer - that question with answers ... will serve someone else in the future ..

so - think of it kinda like the google of fly fishing .... but with the ability to not just search for relative fly fishing information as it relates to specific regions of the world .. but also the ability to interact and define the content through creating content with tips and or questions ... try it out ..

go to www.fliesandfinswest.com and do a seach on - provo river - or -- green river - or whatever ... see what you find ... i guarantee you will learn something --- and any questions that remain ... post a question .. get it??? hope so ... have fun ... hope to see some of your "fish tales" on this site ....

Welcome to fliesandfins.
I am from Maine. Just returned from fishing the Green below Flaming Gorge. What a beautiful area you live in and what an amazing fishery. We had excellent results on the Green landing several fish each day.
