Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to caught a bonefish on a casting/spinning rod? What kind of lure could be use for that?

The reflexion started because I only heard of flyfishing for bonefish but never on a spinning or casting rod!!
I know it's fliesandfins forum, so I think that's the best place to ask about that because who knows bonefish better than flyfishermans.

Thanks
Alexis

I agree with that, there's no fun in it!

I was just wondering because I'm only flyfishing.
So is it possible to throwa living shrimp with a casting rod and that she is still on the hook and alive when she hit water 40 meters far away?

Ok you're talking about live bait but with a little lure is it possible?

I explain someone tells me that he caught a bone with a casting rod and a lure but I can't believe him...

Once I was deep fishing with bait. It was in the gulf of california, in guaymas, sonora. Water was cold. It was like 30 feet deep. I caught 4 bonefish.
