Wow, Striper Blitzing along Southern Maine Beaches all day today ... I suppose in terms of northeast saltwater .. and the way things have been this year .. nothing should surprise me .. but I gotta say Oct 23 and fish being caught in big numbers on the shore, that blew my mind ...

although .. tarpon being caught in the nets off newport rhode island and manatees swimming around in the northeast waters is bazaar too .. either way .. regardless of if you live in maine, nh, ri, ma, ny, nj, ct etc... maybe its not over yet .. if we still got stripers crashing bait in big numbers here in maine .. they gotta be coming down your way at some point .. keep an eye out ....

I fish about 4 days a week may through september for striped bass Laughing .

I haven't had trouble finding fish in Maine in October yet.

However, the water temps have dropped 4 degrees per day 3 days in a row and are hovering just over 50.

Enjoy it while it lasts boys.

I know I'll be out hunting on Sunday Wink
