Hey,

I know that I sometimes get too big for my wading britches or too focused on the fish and push my wading limits to "get to the best spot" and sometimes forget that any body of water is much more powerful than me ..and could swallow me in an instant ... one small slip and that could be it.........

With that said .. their is post on whippa's salmonriverspecialist.com site that tells of a VERY scary situation that transpired last week on the salmon river .... a good reminder to keep yourself in check and always be concious of the power of the water ...

I agree. we all need to focus on safety, especially during these cold weather months!!

I just thought that I would throw in a little plug for a short thread dealing with wading safety that appeared on F&F East a while ago...
