Can't wait to make it to the mainland i hear the bow fishing is already heating up. My friends went out on the weekend and caught 6 fish between 3 people and all of the rainbows were between 6 and 11 pounds!

I almost fly fish year round in alaska if weather permits it. Me and my friends need to get digital camera for some videos and they didn't take any pics but i will hopefully have some big rainbow pics soon. And yes they are resident rainbow even though they grow to tremendous size they never enter saltwater so they are not steelhead. Here are some sample pics of rainbows from a guide i went out with and a web site, none are of me but it shows how big the bows get on the kenai.
