I've never been steelheading and travel to the NW quite a bit for business. If someone would have any interest in fishing with a first timer (although seasoned angler) I would love to experience this special quarry with someone who knows what they are doing and is just as addicted to this type of fishing as I am to my freestones and tailwaters. I'll buy dinner and drive or whatever. I guess I could just research and try a guided trip but I've never been a big fan of being guided.
I live in Colorado and would be happy to host any other travelers coming my way. I've fished all over the West and for big trout and technical conditions I don't think it gets much better then Colorado.
