It looks like I'll be going to Fayetteville for business and would love to fish the tailwaters. What do I need to know?

Differences between the various tailwater opportunities.

What water levels? What do the changing levels mean? How do they effect the fish?

Public access?

Seasons? Bugs?

Is it really good or just good for Arkansas? ( I live in Colorado)

Anything you can tell me would be helpful. I see the changed the regs to C and R in a lot of areas so thats always a good thing.

I have a friend in Conway who has fished all the tailwaters for the past 25 or so years. I have seen the pictures and they are good fish compared to anywhere in my book. The White and Little Red are very productive. There is also a great Smallmouth fishery in Arkansas. Check out the water levels and generator times though before you go if more than 2 are running the water may be to fast and high.
