I have to agree with Steelheadbum, Fat Tire is good beer. I also have a taste for New Holland Brewery's Mad Hatter IPA. Actually all their brews are very tastey. I recomend stopping in next time your in Holland MI.
MMMM...me likey Flat Tire. Too bad we can't get it up here though. I drank it like water when I was living in Colorado. And before my sister moved from Omaha she use to bring me some on visits.
Now...Bell's is good, I like the Two Hearted and the Pale. I also like a nice cigar post fishing.

I'm not old enough to drink beer.. legally... but my family drinks a lot of miller light at the cabin, personally i wouldn't drink a generic beer on a fishing trip. I would look for some small name beer or a local beer. When i was in canada the guys drank Kokanee Glacier Beer (cocaine beer) i had never heard of it but they liked it.

Living on the Dutch / German border has the advantage that you can sample loads of different beers.
Since my visit last year in southern Germany I have developed a taste for the dark wheat bear of the Erdinger brand.
The Germans take beer production pretty serious and there are countless breweries around that make great products.
Erdinger Dunkel
5,6% alcohol
Another favourite brand of mine is the Belgian Palm Brewery.
Palm Speciale
5,4% alcohol
Before I forget it I am also partial to the products of the Abby of Leffe,
another Belgium brewery with a large selection of beers.
I like their darker beers.
Leffe tripel
8,4% alcohol
Since we have a brewery in town you can imagine that I sample their products also from time to time.
I actually worked there for some time during my school days when I studied to be an electrician.
The fall season is the time for what we call bokbier – a sweet dark seasonal beer.
Grolsch bokbier
6,5% alcohol
After a long day on the river nothing beats a large cool glass of beer, at least in my opinion.[/img]
I've pretty much always been a "cheapest that gets it done" sort of fellow, but the wife and I went out to dinner and I gave something new a shot, and was pleasantly surprised. It probably didn't hurt that it had a good name.
