Decided to to advantage of the nice weather this weekened and took a ride to the Mousam. Great day to be standing in the water instead of on it. No fish but did meet and talk with Jeremy for a little bit. Hopefully now that the weather has turned the fish will start biting better.

hey - it was nice meeting you too. i like to take my dog juneau out with me on winter days and spend some time trying to train him in the water. over the winter he seems to forget how to tip toe through the water, stand still next to me for hours on end, not chew stick and swim in the trout holes ---- you saw him on a good day - he was great that day - very well behaved and a great trout dog.

i thought you were gonna get a fish outta that hole you were fishing - the water looked good - but they just weren't there - i didn't get anything either - a good day though - nice meeting you.

Yeah, I thought for sure I'd at least get a nibble or two, but alas nothing. Just glad to be out the nice weather hitting the spots and meeting the great people (and their pets) from all these sites most of us frequent. Looking forward to meeting more of you. Oh yeah, and catching some fish.

Good luck, Caleb. Be careful in the high fast flowing water.

High and fast is right! I was all ready to go after school today, but decided to wait when i saw that the river was roaring, i mean at least a foot or two higher then normal! It looked like a crazy detah trap just waiting to bring me out to sea. I''ll probably try it in the next week or so though if it calms down, myabe some shad will move in after this high water.
