hey im in maine, and plan to hit the river tomorrow Very Happy I scouted it out today and its pretty darn cold, fast, and high. They stocked some brookies there in the fall, might still be around. Any thoughts on flies?

little dark wooly buggers slow and deep... the dark pencil caddis are already hatching, I had one land on me the other day.
I live in New Gloucester and the Little Androscoggin actually looks good, I'll let you know what happens tomorrow after I work on the list around the ranch,

Did you try the St. George on Sunday? Any action? I grew up on the St. George in Searsmont, but I'm in Portland now. I hit a couple rivers down this way and no luck atall.

yeah, the st. george off of route 90. A few other fly fishermen showed up but no one seemed to have any action
