Wow, it feels great to catch some fish on the fly rod. After a long cold spell the weather is much warmer and as a result the dolly fishing is heating up. I caught 8 yesterday and 4 today with the average fish being a 16 incher. They are finally starting to fatten up and because of that and the fact i have been doing well on alevin flies i think the alevins (baby salmon) are starting to hatch. The weather was really nasty so i was unable to take any pictures plus i was really wary cuz a bear just ate a hikers dog the other day near where i was fishing so i did not want to be holding fish near shore Exclamation I should be going out soon in better weather and hopefully i will have some pics.
