Hey,

I fished with Tom Rosenbauer of the Orvis Company on the cape last week. First time truly sight fishing for stripers on the flats .. It was killer ... and fun to stalk the fish on the flats, see a cruising fish and cast to it ... I also got a chance to cast a new rod that tom had .. it was a 10 weight and felt like a 6 weight ... amazing rod .. but he wouldn't tell me much about it .. anyway, this is just a little sneak preview i put together of our time on the flats .. and tom casting the ??????? fly rod... stay tuned for more from this trip and others, as we have some killer trips coming up throughout the coming weeks...

Sweet! Monomoy is a special place huh? I love it out there, it's too bad it's on the Cape. Hate that place...too close to where I grew up. hot sandy family vacations of minigolf and sitting in traffic before AC was standard in cars...haha

come on shaq, i am sure your fondest childhood memories are sitting bumper to bumper on rte 3 for 6 hours or so in the swealtering heat ... .... anyway, i did enjoy it out there ... beautiful area, once you get through all the hustle and bustle of people trying to get wherever they are going (cape, vineyard, nantucket etc...)
