kray - i was browsing through the log on the chat - and i saw you said you got a HUGE rainbow - Took an hour to land.....Well you can't tell us that and leave us hanging.....Come one we want the "fish tale"...we are josing for it....

You all have heard right, I caught a big one. I was fishing with my
grandpa the last evening they were here and he took the picts on his non digital camera so i have to wait till he emails me the picts then you will have your story. But i dont know, I am sure you have caught bigger, I mean a 7-8 pound rainbow aint to big --right?

The one thats up or the one thats coming will win that real ( i really wish i had that huge friction based drag for some of this fishes runs)

A 7 or 8 pound bow is a big bow everywhere and one that fights that hard even if you don't have a great drag deserves to be bragged about. The biggest bow i ever caught in wyoming was 5 pounds and i bragged about it for months . Seriously great fish and great job!

Congrats on the big fish. Hooking fish is one but keeping them attached is a different story.
I was in big bow terretory last week when fishing the Mohne river in Germany. Even though it was flooding I was surprised by the fact that none of us saw or felt anything.
Out of the woodwork came the explanation why we did not got any fish. Seems the tackleshop who runs the river has not paid the bills for the stocked fish. The suppliers of those fish emptied the river by means of electric fishing aka they cleaned out the river to reclaim their livestock.
That was the inside story from our local informant. I think I am going postal

have you guys ever thought of things like why the fishing is good, you know like a superstition
like we caught fish when my grandpa was smoking a cigar?
