Fellas/Ladies,

I am getting ready to pop my cherry on my first, but definetly not last, trip to Alaska to see the last frontier!

Going for the last week of July & early August to see an old friend of the families who is currently living outside of Talkeetna, unfortnately not much of a fly fisherman. I have been a fly-fishing nut for over 15 years and been fortunate enough to tangle with strippers, kings, chromers, 10+ browns, reds, etc... but have never been fortunate enough to visit Alaska until now.

I am obviously doing my due diligence via the web but would welcome any thoughts or ideas anyone would be willing to share about fly fishing around Bristol Bay and north up around the Talkeetna area.

Tight lines to all, will post upon my return.
