In Natural Fly's words....

"Being contractors, as long as you have your cell phone strapped on you are still considered being on the job right???
One of the best decisions Fats and I have made in a while was splitting away from the office and catching Tuesday afternoons high tide. Of course I miss strip struck the first pair of Reds I laid a cast out to and had the next come unbuttoned. Traditionally when we blow a fish, we switch places. Strike (3) I"m out.
I step up on the platform and 5 minutes later Fats is bowed on a crawler that he tagged in just a few inches of water. Pretty Sweet!
We switch places, Fats poles 30' and I have shots at multiple tailers. 5 minutes later, I have my hands on our next release. We switch places, I pole 40' and Fats has his sights trained on (3) more Tailers pointing in different directions. Fats hooks the fish that he was not casting to, if that make sense which buries itself in a clump of marsh grass. Fats has to jump in and dig his Red out. We switch places, as we push on, tails are flying everywhere. There is (2) fish to my left, (3) more to my right that are all within casting distance and several more further back. I lay a cast out to a fish on my left which sinks out on me as I am watching this tails to my right, Fats goes to speak and my line comes tight as I was looking the other direction. I remind Fats that I would rather be lucky than good any day. As the tide ebbed, the Reds went into "it's time to get the hell out of here mode" as they were pushing past us. Game over.
Just an incredible afternoon. "
