|
|
| I just recently invested in my first pair of simms fishing waders! I purchased the G3 guide converable waders. I really became sold on these waders because of the easy convertability from chest waders, to waist waders. All I had to do was fold down the top fabric to my waist, and the straps that usually go over my shoulders on chest high waders, became the waist belt for the waist high waders! A pretty simple design, and I was really impressed. I also liked how these waders fit pretty slim and don't have a lot of excess material, which used to hold me back in fast water with overly roomy waders. These waders seem pretty durable, but I have only used them once. I plan on putting them to the test this upcoming season. Does anybody have any thoughts about simms waders? wheather the good the bad or the ugly, I would be interested to hear what you think about the simms brand of waders. |

| I have been rocking the G3 guide series and I must say they have been the best pair of waders that I have owned. Being in them at least 100+times this year I feel I have put a good amount of stress on them. They are reinforced in the areas that see alot of wear (knees, seat) and are very durable. No Leaks yet......I am a big fan of Simms. |

I've got a pair of the Rivertecs that I like alot. No shoulder straps, just a velcro belt. They are perfect for guiding out of a raft, just a velcro belt, so you can hop out and take a leak with no hassle.
Durablility wise I just finished my 3rd season with them. Figure I probably wear them 40 plus days a year when not wet wading, spring and fall.
Great waders/still keep me dry and comfortable. |

The best waders I've yet owned so far are these G3 Convertables. I took out the clumsy strap tangles and raise the waist all the way up, click on the Folstaff belt above the built-inwading belt and I have a high wader with a two-belt spinal support. Feet feel good all day. I'm 62, fish Trout and Salmon all day, and I tend to whine about discomfort. One Kennebec season and so far, so good on the G3s. |

3 years at 100+ dats a year on my G3s! Beat to hell, but tight as a drum! Honestly, I wish someone would pay me to test waders! LOL Not only am I fat, but I fish hard all year, and I can't seem to destroy any of the Simms waders I own!
Tight lines!!
