yo .. pretty simple really only 2 chord progressions - 1 for the chorus and 1 for the verse .. the tune starts with the chorus so ..

CHORUS: D/A/G/G
VERSE: bm/fm/G/G

(D)I know I'm not the (A) only one on the (G) east coast waiting for the sun

VERSE:

(bm)Grey skies (fm)hover over (G)me no leaves upon the trees and
I.....

That's it .. hope this helps .. if you bang it out .. record it and lets hear it .. can't be any worse than ours .. as boz and i recorded it in some dungy motel room in the florida keys on a cheap camera phone or something ..

PS.. and isn't it a timely tune right now, cuz it pretty much speaks to exactly how i feel right now

hello... i know I don't post here often but read almost everyday.

The song Winter was how I found this site. I saw that video of you guys chasing baby tarpon on foot. The winter bug was creeping in here, and the video was awesome and inspirational.

Thanks for posting the chord progression. I just started learning guitar a month ago! And I hope and right now daydreaming about being able to play this on some some white sanded beach chasing some silver somewhere.

Over the past few days, I have been humming that tune all day through cubicle hell, through repairing my GF roof and her windows, through taking my car to a shop to have the tree removed from it, and even when I am cutting up wood.

I know I am waiting for the sun!... Great Song... we're having a "lock in" tonight" at Nate's due to the snow storm.... lots of flies, tunes, drink, smoke, and dreams of fishing in warm climates.
