Cool What do I need to build a "fly shop" in my room. I'm 15 and completely addicted to fly fishing and tying. I would love for gear for sale and whatever you got too. Just let me know what you have.

I am not much of a tier but I do like to tie my own midges and steelhead flies (easy stuff). I have an old school vise that is not much of anything but it works for what I do. I would suggest getting a nice bobbin and good thread when you are fly tying some creations. Nothing worse having your thread break half way through the fly. I would also invest in some killer siccors. I have a tough time keeping my stuff organized so if you are really into it I would look into getting a tying bench and some other organizing components to make things a bit easier. Lets see some patterns.... have fun get creative.

i just started tying 2 years ago and asked people the same question. i found the best thing to do is if you go to www.cabelas.com and go to flyfishing u can buy a beginers kit that comes with everything u need it comes with a vice, scissors, and all the rest of the starting tools plus a bunck of feathers haackel and all of that suff to get started. it was great u should ckeck it out.

Living in Alaska I would be able to get many cool and unique things to sell to you. Many items, no one else in your area would have. I can get natural snowshoe rabbit masks, and snowshoe rabbit feet, brown and black bear hair, mountain goat hair and many others. Send me a PM if interested.

I also have a used Regal medallion series fly tying vice if you want to buy that as well.
