Hey, we are going to Silverthorne area spring break of 09

Anyone have good tips for fishing the blue?

Try some Mysis shrimp through town and I would also have some egg patterns for the rainbows should be starting their spawn. The section of the Blue River that runs through town sees alot of pressure and the fish know what is going on up above. Just be super stealthy and keep your composure. Don't be afraid to get out of town either and see what other sections of the blue have to offer. It is a beautiful river that holds some very big trout. Midges in various colors are good to have as well as some Baetis patterns.
