We had an amazing time. This water is one of the most technical rivers in the entire country and maybe even the world. I was blown away by headrush and how well he managed to adapt to the "Mighty D". Many fish were landed and many more were lost during battle. Hedrickson and Grey Fox were on the menu and for the last hour of light the river just came alive. The hendrickson spinner fall was just outrageous. 20+ inch browns just gorging themselves on the surface. Noses and mouths as far as the eye could see every square foot of the river. Kranefly lost an absolute bohemian i estimated to be at least 24" and a solid 5 pounds. I will be back to settle a score with a couple monsters that burned me bad. All in all a great trip and great comraderie.
