| Not me. Wish I was man. Good luck. Let us know how you do. What are your plans? Where are you heading? 3 month trip .. that's gotta include some pretty sweet plans and places. Camping? Targeting anything specific? Have you been before? Going alone? ... I'd love to go to New Zealand someday -- any tips or things to consider? |

I was down there in 07' for two months, spent the whole time on the south island chasing browns, with a couple rainbows thrown in. Will be doing the same this time. I buy a car and camp out for the most part, but i have made friends down there so i can stay with them as well or theres hostels everywhere. The worst part is the cost of the flight ($2200) and the duration of the flight, about 22 hours. But once your down there you dont have to spent a lot of money. I plan on $6000 for the entire trip.
It is a wonderful country with lots of wonderful people. I would recommend it to everyone. |

| New Zealand is as good as it gets. I was down on the North Island for a month, fishing was sweet, people were awesome and the weather was perfect. Would love to go back. Hope you have a good time! |

Hi,Cap BB.
Great u are going to NZ,$2200 seams too much for ur plane.
I think u could do better,as in the last 6 months the Australian Gov,
has opened the route between Aus & the USA,which was previously only operated by Qantas, only thing is u propably will have to change
planes/airlines in Sydney(Continental,as well as Jetstar, which is a no frills Qantas sub are offering low fares).
Friends fish NZ yearly, and catch some nice fish, last year they had to go early,as it has become more popular, and is a big $ maker for the tourist industry. Hope this helps,if u arn't already committed.
