| The new Simms G3 Guide waders are well worth the $400 price tag. I was a bit turned off by them because of the price, but I was also fed up with buying a $200 pair of waders that wouldn’t make it through barely one season. Pockets, pockets, and more pockets! I love that there are so many storage places to put tippet, forceps, etc. At first I thought that the 5 layer Gore-tex might be a little overkill. After spending time crawling up to the side of the bank, sneaking up on feeding fish, it defiantly came in handy. The other feature that impressed me was that Simms made the seams going down the legs on the front of the wader rather than on the side. That way you don’t rub the seams together as you strut your stuff on the river! Has anyone had trouble with these waders leaking? If so, where and how long after you purchased them? |
