I am going to visit my in-laws for a week in the Orlando area in late June. The trade off is that I can have a day to myself to go fishing. Other than some bass fishing in the lake behind the in-laws house, I have never done any fly fishing in FLA. I am obviously willing to drive, but I only have the one day. Can anyone give some suggestions for that time of year and where I might go to get after them?

THanks,

Coach

Thanks Jeremy. I did do some research for the Crystal River area (about an hour and a half away) and that looks promising for redfish, sea trout, and possibly tarpon.

You make a great point. I'm going to stay with my in-laws for a week in Florida which is a long way from Waterville, ME. I definitely don't mind driving a little to get on the water.
