|
|
I am going to visit my in-laws for a week in the Orlando area in late June. The trade off is that I can have a day to myself to go fishing. Other than some bass fishing in the lake behind the in-laws house, I have never done any fly fishing in FLA. I am obviously willing to drive, but I only have the one day. Can anyone give some suggestions for that time of year and where I might go to get after them?
THanks,

Coach,
Perhaps some members have some new info for you. In the meantime Check out this Orlando Thread from someone else, who had the same question a while back. http://www.fliesandfins.com/postt1409.html

Thanks Jeremy. I did do some research for the Crystal River area (about an hour and a half away) and that looks promising for redfish, sea trout, and possibly tarpon.
You make a great point. I'm going to stay with my in-laws for a week in Florida which is a long way from Waterville, ME. I definitely don't mind driving a little to get on the water. |
