Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone out there!
I'm mainly a trout fisherman but will chase after anything that swims when it comes down to it. I am also a member of a couple of other forums out there... NGTO, SEFFF, SC fishing report.
Can't wait to get involved with the site. Cheers. |

Welcome,
I'm a newbie to the site too and I'm a trout snob. I love the vids and stories. I've got cabin fever so bad that I'm salivating over guys fishing for steelies and I can't wait to hit some of these tributaries on Lake Michigan for spring-run trout. Wisconsin ain't so bad. |

Hi Guys!
Welcome to fliesandfins.com .. great to have you as part of "the crew" .. you will find many others that "will chase after anything that swims when it comes down to it" .... the greatest thing, in my opinion, about this site is that there are literally all kinds of fly fisherman .. guys that pretty much just fish trout, guys that only fish the salt, guys that fish the flats, guys that fish the bluewater, bass guys, pike guys, carp guys etc,, crew members from virtually every state and every country .. guys who have never caught a tarpon and guys who have caught 100's of tarpon and never a brook trout ... this keeps things lots of fun and always interesting .. because it gives way to a constant state of learning and recognizing how much we each do and DON"T know .... so, no "experts" here really .. all "newbies" (when looking at the bigger picture of global fly fishing and species and tacticus and methods etc.. ) ... So, like every "crew" .. each person brings their skills or what they know to the table .. but the "magic" comes from the totality of the "crew" .. and its pretty sweet to think that fliesandfins.com started out with only 1 member and now, 6 years later, there is a crew of 4,719 crew members of all walks of life, from different parts of the world, some who are professional trout guides, never fished trout, professional saltwater flats guides, guys who've never fished the salt, steelhead addicts and guys who don't even know what a steelhead is!! ... Great stuff .. and every new "crew member" like you guys are always welcome .. and its YOU who adds to the constantly evolving "magic" of flies and fins! .. So have fun and welcome aboard! |

New here as well. Stoked to... well, share the stoke.
I think we can all agree that we are here because we love "chasin' fins". |
