Peter,

How are ya? Hope all is well. I know you have been a crew member of fliesandfins.com for a long time and through posts, private messages and fishtales etc.. I know you are a pretty hard core fly fisherman and do some pretty cool stuff all around the world. Now, I have never done it .. but have had the invite for the last 2 years to go down to louisiana with the guys from World Angling and fish with The Holeman Brothers (brian and travis) for the legendary redfish in that area. I hope to go this year .. Anyway, its hard to argue against the fact that where they fish in louisiana for those monster redfish is some of the, if not the, best redfishing in the world. Redfish, is what these guys do; period. I have fished in key west with brian holeman and is a great guy and a blast to fish with. Anyway, I told them about your post and that you were going to Lousiana and want to fish for Redfish and want "someone who can get you on reds" .. Below was Travis' response .... so, get in touch with him and/or brian. Also, make sure you watch the video that loads on their home page .. I think you will agree that these guys know the redfish game pretty well and that if anyone can "get you over some reds" they can. http://www.holemanbrothers.com/ Good luck, have fun, hope this helps.

--------------- From Travis -Holeman ----------------------------------

"Catch up with Capt. Travis Holeman. Best way is via e-mail travis@holemanbrothers.com or www.holemanbrothers.com or call 727.644.4947. Send me your dates and if i'm open your in if not i'll get you on the water with the right crew. Wintertime Monsters are starting to show and from now till March is on-fire.

J, thanks for the pass along. Catch up with you soon. I remember sitting next to DT last year when he was trying to talk you into making a weekend trip over to our playground. Get around to it this year... stoooooooopid fun and I would argue the best fishing in the US for reds.

I took Gregg Arnold out in the bay boat for a little photo shoot day before yesterday and let him use my Pro-Step. We figured out how to get out to the Chandie's and still fly fish but in a boat that makes it way easier and headache free. New market for us and it is on fire..... huge schools of reds. if you know where to find em and we do son... get over here."
