Yo Fellas,
Been a reader for awhile and a good friend of mine is on here a lot, so just thought it was about time to be official. I look forward to getting into some good discussions and getting some great info as well. Jeremy, you do a great job with the site and create some great topics.

Hey Jeremy,
Thanks man! Although, there are a lot of great people, friends and talented fly fisherman from all around the world responsible, in one way or another, for "doing a great job with the site and creating some great topics" ... Great to have ya "on board" !!!
PS. I see you live in Montana ... lucky dog! I have only gotten a chance to fish out in "big sky country" a couple times .. Amazing part of the world out there ... |

Well Kudos to all of the guys on F&F.
I have lived all over the last 10 years but found myself back in Montana. I live in the Blackfoot river valley outside of Missoula. There definitely is a lot to offer here, but I am always jealous of the East Coast guys when the saltwater season starts. I lived on the East coast a bit and enjoyed fishing the salt when I could. You always miss most what is hard to get...... in other words I REALLY MISS THE SALT. |

| Hey bro, just logged on and saw JeremyK on a few of the posts and knew it was you. Glad you decided to "come out". Bummed we didn't make the steelhead trip, but maybe the olympic peninsula this spring. I assume you saw Joey's killer trip write up on the home page here, that is the trip I was telling you about...Anyway welcome aboard, always good to have the deep philosophical discussions about fly fishing and the world with you. Look forward to a few of those on here! |

Thanks K-Man,
It is finally winter in Montana, so why not get into some good discussions on the board. I have always enjoyed reading the stuff, and finally decided to get "on board". No worries about the trip to the salmon, probably better that I got some extra time with the wife considering she had been in Argentina for the past month. I am thinking of heading to the South Fork of the CW this week. My spey rod still has not come back from Sage yet, but will probably nymph and one-handed swinging for some steelies. A great excuse to buy another!!! The weather looks good on Monday and Tuesday so I may try to sneak over for two days, considering I am working today. Been tying a lot of steelhead Hopefully the OP will work out, let me know so I can take the days off if you decide to go and need a drinking and casting buddy. |

| Hey Jeremy -- you didn't mention that your friend was Kory ... Great dude and great fly fisherman .... I've only fished out west a handful of times. Since kory is from the west coast, I've been telling kory for a while that the next time i go fly fishing out west - i'd love to go with him. I know he's got a pile of "honey holes" and i've seen a bunch of pics and some vids of the stuff he does out there ... looks killer! Would be cool if that does come to fruition, sooner than later ... perhaps the 3 of us can fish together. There is a sweet video kory has of him and a friend fishing the brown drake hatch on silver creek
... Is that you? Either way, any friend of kory's is a friend of mine -- look forward to taking a few casts with ya someday .. peace. |

HI!
New here myself. Love to freshwater fish for trout, grayling and salmon.
Winter is here, and time to tie flies. Can't wait 'til spring!

Misty,
Welcome to you as well, I am sure you will enjoy your time on here. Winter is here and tying flies is a great way to get through it but I also look forward to winter trips to tropical spots like florida, bahamas, mexico, belize etc...In Utah, where I am from I used to be able to fish all winter long and loved it. Not as easy out here in NY although our striper season is still going strong especially when the temps are still in the high 50s and 60s. I am on a plane coming home right now from a trip back to Utah where I caught some great trout and am looking forward to doing some striper fishing until winter really locks us down. Anyway welcome aboard!
Hey JeremyK, I wouldn't even think twice about heading to the clearwater if I was you. Having a steelhead river only 3 hours away is something you should definitely take advantage of. I would probably be there every single week! If you go, let us know how it goes maybe even put together a fish tale would love to hear about it. |

Jeremy,
You can thank Kory for getting me to check out the site. He is a great guy and we became good friends when I was living and working on the East coast. We have all kinds of great fly fishing discussions and try to keep up with him as much as possible. He is a fishin' fool, loves to do it and I love to hear what he has to say about certain things in the FF world.
That isn't me in the video, I remember Kory showing that to me awhile back. I guess Kory has a bunch of friends named Jeremy. In fact I called him awhile back and was talking with Tammy, his girlfriend, and she thought it was you that she was talking to until I was talking about Montana.
Just as you stated earlier, any friend of Kory is a friend of mine as well. Please don't hesitate to ever to call me or drop an e-mail to get out here in Montana and fish... It is an open invite, I have a two bedroom place on the Blackfoot and my friends and friends of friends are always welcome; especially if they can row a boat. I have heard a lot about you and would love to throw some line with you anytime!!!!! |
