Hi guys,

I've been unlucky with my fishing glasses, either lost them or they broke, etc. I want to get a pair of Oakley fishing glasses but I need your advice on the color of the lenses.
So, I am not interested in any other model of fishing glasses except Oakley, but since they are not really cheap here, I want to get only one pair (I used to have couple of pairs with different colors of the cheaper ones). What I need is your advice, what is the best color (more universal) to match all weather conditions, rainy days, cloudy and sunny, and also different water colors. I know that there is no color that fits perfectly to all above mentioned conditions, but maybe there is a color that fits better than the others. From the cheaper ones I used (Snowbee, Rapala, etc) I found the yellow one the best, but I might be wrong.

Many thanks for your help

Cheers

Valentin

I prefer amber lenses. Where I live the sun rarely makes an appearance, so for low light situations I have found them to be most suitable. Also, I have found the more $$ I spend the better care I give my shades. In the past I would go through half a dozen pair of $30 dollar shades in one season, so I bit the bullet and dropped $250 and have had the same pair for many years now, not to mention the lenses are glass and therefore pretty much scratch-proof. Good luck with finding a pair, let us know what you settle on.
