Whats a good fly box????

Cliff boxes are sweet they offer good products for both fresh and salt. I love my bugger barn it holds a lot of flies and the foam slits make it long lasting.

I'll second the Cliff Outdoors boxes. I have a couple of Bugger Barns. Fit a ton of stuff in them. Their other boxes are good too. I also have the Big Cliff and The Super Day's Worth, both of these hold alot of flies. If you are not worried about size of the box(to fit in a pack) check out the Bugger Beasts. The Cliffs are nice boxes and they pretty much have a design to cover just about any situation you would want. They also do custom boxes, well at least they used too. I had one made a few years ago.

Cliff boxes are good boxes I agree especially for bigger flies and saltwater flies. Since this is the saltwater forum I assume that is what you are looking for. I use different boxes for my saltwater flies than freshwater for various reasons. For big saltwater patterns and baitfish imitations without eyes I use fly wallets made by finsport. They allow you to get a lot of flies in relatively compact space, keeping them straight and not smashing them and allowing you to see what you have. For smaller patterns where you need a broad range of sizes and colors and weights like bonefish flies, I like the C&F because you can see exactly what you have and the slots allow you to not destroy the foam by putting flies in and out. C&F are pretty spendy though and they are not clear so you have to open them to see inside. There are a bunch of other manufacturers including Cliff, 3M and Umpqua that have similar boxes that work very well.
