Yesterday I visited the Dutch flyair with the guys from the flyfishing club.
The flyfair is held bi-annual, this time the fair was held at the shores of the Drontermeer on what we call the new land (land regained from the sea).
The fairground was fitted with several large tents that housed a whole battery of flytyiers from Europe and the USA. Furthermore most of the flyfishing tackle shops where present with a selection of their gear.
There was a special exhibition by Ari ‘t Hart who had a very large collection of
his reels and accessories on display.
I started the day off on a bad note since I had a headache like hell.
Even after taking several aspirins the headache would not subside and I was not far from
throwing up. I still managed to survive the day without any mayor incidents although my buddies where afraid I would spill my breakfast over them at any second J
Still enjoyed the day though, talked to interesting people and off course did some shopping.
I had intended to make more pictures but in my current state that was not possible.
