|
|
| I am a beginner at fly fishing and i started out fly fishing for reds. I havent quite got the hang of it yet and i was wondering what is the easiest fish to fly fish for in the central florida area? More in the places of mosquito lagoon, ponce inlet and cape canaveral. Im really having trouble with spotting the fish than anything. Any tips on what I can do? |

you can try with bonefish but before , just crush a shrimp over the fly to let the smell of the shrimp to attrack easilly the fishes . if you are a really begginer try for barracudas, snapper. in fresh water you can try with bass,
its very easy and florida haves a lot of tiny ponds, just jump over the fences, no one would notice.
you can try in land too, but with chickens, just get a small lizzard and cast
it in front of it and just do like if it were a tarpon. |

Snowkid...welcome aboard and keep at the sight fishing game! When you say...."Im really having trouble with spotting the fish ...." I'd suggest you get some tan polarized eyewear... walk fishy areas slowly....while you fish the tide at it's steepest incoming or outgoing. Go out when the moon is full. Be smart.
Get the tidal and moon phase info for your area on your PC. Fish the tide and look through the water. Use the smallest baitfish pattern in white until you see refusals.
report back here.....for more info. |
