| hey im planning a trip with my granpa at the end of june and was wondering. What hatch will be going on? |

Hi and welcome to fliesandfins.com! Glad to have you as part of the crew. Here are some bugs that may be coming off during that time frame. Of course, these are just a few options to try. Perhaps others on this forum will have some suggestions for you to try. Hope this helps. Have a great trip and enjoy fishing with your grandpa. Don't forget wooly buggers, elk hair caddis flies, flashback pheasentails and some of your favorite nymph patterns too! If the trout are not rising on the surface - they are feeding on nymphs below. Here's 5 dry fly patterns that you might want to bring along on your trip. Good luck and have fun.
1. Sulfurs, size 16
2. Green Drake, size 10
3. Blue Winged Olive, size 14, 18 and 20
4. Light Cahill, size 14
5. Tricos, size 24 |
