I recently acquired a pair of the Orvis Pack & Travel Waders with SonicSeam technology. So far, they’ve been able to withstand most of the steel heading I do along Erie, though I haven’t gotten into the bitter cold with them. I seem to have a bit more mobility then my old breathables, which helps on some of the longer walks into streams.
They are a breeze to travel with, and am anxious to see how extra room I get in my luggage.
Has anyone fished them throughout the winter months? Are they as warm as your typical breathables?
Will let you know how the winter wading progresses with them, as we’re finally starting to get the snow…
