Have not stopped by in a very long time. My bad. I've been doing some lurking and have been nothing but impressed.
I'm looking foreward to a great year in '08.
I must report the the old Whaler "El Pescador" we fished out of is now sitting in someone elses yard. It was a great boat just not large enough for me.
In September I picked up a new to me '04 Aquasport. She's large enough to comfortably fish two with me at the helm.
Gilly and I are drooling over Bluefin right now. I hope we hook up for some fishing next year.

yo ... i got a better idea ... i got a boat too .. customized for inshore fly fsihing and specifically chasing tuna i .. no seats (stand up and look the entire time and hold on to a rope) .. no comorts not even a drink holder or any stuff like that .. nothing to get fly line hung up on ... stripped of anything at all .. every piece of steel or hardware or handle that wasn't "needed" was removed as it weighed me down ... pure fiberglass and 70 horse power .. that's it ... ... not for everyone, but it's the way i like to roll chasing fast/migratory fish in inshore waters .... so, the better plan might be .. we launch at the same spot here in maine (no need to ever mention exact locations online, never - ever!) .. exit an agreed upon maine harbor .. you and gilly go south in your boat .. me and whomever i am with go north ... we fish as a team with 2 boats ... saves on gas and together we can cover much more water than we could alone ... you call my cell if you see anything, i will do the same ... that would be fun and teamwork!! let's talk when the tuna arrive, can't wait!! .. hope all is well ...
