I live in No. Calif. and have been a trout-targeted fly fisherman since high school. Skill level is just OK for someone wh works too much and fishes too little.

Looking towards getting away to fish larger waters, I need to develop greater skill with my new 7/8 wt outfit.

Other than the three P's ( practice, practice, practice) can anyone recommend a book or video ( or instructor in No. Calif.) that could help me learn to get more distance out of my casting???
