Have livebaited mackeral for big Stripers in Essex River in Mass. from father-in-laws boat. Any good bets for Stripers on the fly from shore around this area (Cranes Beach). Just started flyfishing this area since I married into it from VA.
not looking for anyones honey hole, general locations to get me started is all.

| Check out Plum Island .. you are only 20 miles or so and its a great spot for stripers. Good luck. |

| You're in a great area... marshes, out front, you name it. All the mouths will produce early season....heard Halibut Point SP is good too. |
