| I was introduced to this product at the ISE show in Denver last month. It is a lot more supple than Rio’s Powerflex tippet. I’ve become a huge fan of the Flouroflex Plus and swear by it when fishing small nymphs. Although, fluorocarbon can be a little stiff and sometimes I think it inhibits the fly’s natural movement. This new tippet from Rio seems to be the ticket to small dries, but I’m wondering if anyone has used it yet for smaller nymphs? I haven’t had a chance to get my hands on a spool of it yet, in fact all of the fly shops I have been to do not have a stock of it yet. Has anyone used it? If so, what do you think about it compared to fluorocarbon? |
