A couple months back Matt1515 sent me a private message. Matt is from North Carolina and has been a crew member of fliesandfins.com for as long as I can remember. He said, "Hey Jeremy, my brother chris (who is a professional and well trained artist/painter are starting a little business and we want to do a demo of our work and wondered if you could send us a picture of a fish that means a lot to you." They didn't have a website or much to see at that point, but I am always willing to help out artists. So, I sent them a picture of a striped bass that meant a lot to me. A couple weeks later a big package showed up from UPS and, of course, my wife opened it and when she saw it she said, "WOW! Jeremy, this is awesome! We should hang it over here." Now, typically, any "fish" related art or pictures etc. find there way right into the basement! Not this one though. It hangs in a very visual spot in our kitchen for everyone to see. And, everytime anyone comes over (fisherman or not fisherman) they always compliment on the artwork. So, if you love fish, fly fishing scenery and taking pictures of those things that mean something to you .. you should check out matt's and his brother chris' artwork and new business

Also, check out there website .. they are running a very simple promotional contest. Send them 1 of your photos and you could be the person chosen that they will do a free piece of work for you. Thanks Matt and Chris, I just looked over at the piece you did for me and it will be a piece of artwork that will stay with me, in my families home forever.

Thanks for the kind words Jeremy. We were very pleased in the way your piece turned out. I hope you will enjoy it for a long, long time. We have now opened the contest and are taking entries! The Flies and Fins crew are stepping up to the plate now. We've had 6 F and F entries in 24 hours. Not to mention the ones over the last two weeks. There have been lots of new entries put up on the site over the last two or three days. Check it!
