Hi EMARF,
Generally a 1, 1/0-2/0 hook, typically sparsely dressed flies that are easy to cast into tight spots and don't hit the water like a log. Depending on where your fishing, and water clarity this could very. But, in the past I've used 1/0 and 2/0 and been productive. All the best.

I noticed you are in Sarasota, Fl. Since I recently got a winter home in the Tampa area, I was researching FF clubs in that area and found a few. Check these sites out, not only for their flies, but it looks like there are some great clubs that have monthly get togethers.
