I had one of the best fly fishing days of my life yesterday. Hit the North Platte River in Central Wyoming... specific location is classified. 
All I can say is... it was AWESOME. We caught fish after fish that were very impressive. We took pictures of the first few we were catching, then realized that the next fish and the next fish, etc. were just as amazing. After a while we just stopped getting the camera out.
We went out in two boats; me, my uncle and two of his friends.
Pictures say it all. Enjoy!
Flows are a little high in this particular stretch of river. Without boats fishing would have been tough.

| Sweet, looks you guys had a slayfest! Gotta love Wyoming, one of my favorite states to fish that's for sure! |

Congrats 72,memories of days like this last a lifetime.Coincidentally,I just had my best 3 day trip ever 2 weeks ago in 20+ years of Atlantic Salmon fishing,so I can relate to the enthusiasm....if I don't hook another salar this year it'll still be a successful season......although I'm eagerly anticipating the end of this heat wave,some rain,and more good days ahead.
Beautiful looking river and scenery you have there.  |
