I had a quick question and looking for opinions. I recently attended a fishing show where I got to try on the New Korker's Chrome with the BOA System, and the SIMMS boots with the BOA Laces as well.

I'm really liking this BOA system, but I have no experience with them fishing out in the real world.

Anyone have any experience with this? What about the interchangeable soles? Anyone have any soles fall out or fall off? Anyone have problem with the BOA laces themselves??

The new korkers design is made so they don't fall out. A friend of mine has them and loves them. As for simms boots I can't find anything wrong with them. I have the G4 guide boot and its amazing. My personal opinion is to stick with laces. Both are solid boots, good luck choosing between the two.

Would love to give the new korkers a try, but can't seem to wear out my old one's. I have never had any issue with the inserts and will definitely stay with Korkers the next time.

Hi guys,

I picked up a pair of Chrome's last spring, and fished heavy with them this season. The BOA system is awesome, easy on and sooo easy off! The interchangeable soles are a breeze too. I've got the studded rubber soles on mine as the stones in many of the rivers in the area I fish are quite slick. Those soles really hold well. Knowing what I do now, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a pair of these. I'll never be without them again.
