Well, not a fishing report but more a horror story.
Hit the beach this morning and found no fish except for
a couple of dead washed up sardines.
The was a slight aroma of dead fish in the air.
I found no fisherman at the usual spots on the beach.
The water was very dark colored, almost black when I walked
on Naples pier.
At the pier I counted two fisherman, normally there would be
at least a twenty or more guys fishing.
Needless to say that there where no pelicans, gulls or dolphins
around. It is bad.
This evening I will attend a lecture held by Mark Ward from Everglades Angler. I will also meet up with local fishingbuddy Diamond Dave as we call him. Maybe he knows some spots where
there are still live fish. |
