Lately I have been getting many emails from all kinds of fly fishermen in France. Though I feel embarrassed because I do not know your language and you know mine - I am glad that you like Flies And Fins. The great part about video and pictures is that they are not dependant on any language. So, I want to extend a personal welcome to all of the new members from France. Maybe someday I will be able to meet some of you in person and fly fish some of the rivers/lakes in France - If any of you are thinking of coming to the USA - just let us know. There are many fly fishermen here that will help you with all of the information you would need to have a fun and affordable fly fishing trip in the USA - and - if you are ever considering coming to Maine, USA feel free to contact me. That is where I am from.

Thanks for participating and welcome to fliesandfins.com.

Very Happy

jer,
check your private messages....

marcel,
Diane is a Maine-raised French girl, however she doesn't speak fluent French. I used the translation link http://www.freetranslation.com/free/

I am sure the translation is a bit vague, but it may expand jeremy's communication ability.

Dave is in the Bahamas. Damn, he's over Bones!

I can carry a conversation with most. However my skills in writing the language and verb congregation suffer terribly primarily from sitting through 5 years of french class and staring mindlessly at the upperclasswomen!!!!! Very Happy

I do not speak a word of French, I figure since I
can speak English and German besides Dutch I have
at least the direct neighbours covered.
For the saltwater angler Spanish might
come in handy.

Dave in the Bahamas ?, lucky dog!
I bet he will file a nice report about his trip, can't wait.
I can understand his priorities but when does he send
those pictures he promised Rolling Eyes

Hello

I'm Alx. I appear on your site (look the "Hello" message on off topic forum).

Next Autumn, we'll go to California with my girlfriend. It is an occasion for me to fly fish in your Country (I look forward to !!).

Your site is very nice, with very very funny videos. In France it's very difficult to catch nice and big fishs.

We've nice rivers, but destroyed by pollution, dams, and a "kill'em all" tradition about fish... Sad

Thank you for your reception
